In Zacatecas, standards are being modified from inquisitorial to oral trials, due to pressure from the international community. The state of Zacatecas has entered the process of public hearings and oral trials, and such advances have also been made in Oaxaca, Morelos, and Chihuahua. Police experts and forensic medicine depend on uncontaminated crime scenes to use this evidence throughout a trial.
