Kidnapping group of seven is captured in Chihuahua; two of their hostages are released

The Commissioner of the Federal Police (Policía Federal), Facundo Rosas Rosas, announced that the Secretary of Public Security (Secretaría de Seguridad Pública – SSP) caught a group of kidnappers and liberated two women of ages 14 and 20.

The group, known as Los Rojas, was caught when the SSP organized a fake payment transaction for the release of the two women. When found, both women had signs of having been abused. The crime group kidnapped the victims and harassed  their families by torturing the hostages so that the ransoms would be paid.

The captured were Rogelio Morales Barrientos, Ismael Elerizta Valadez, Javier Ribota Talavera, Nancy Lilia Núñez Borja, Felipe Arellano González, Yolanda Rueda Román, and a minor whom is the son of Yolanda. Along the with the group, the SSP seized three vehicles and cash.
