15 were executed and marked with the letter “Z” in Tamaulipas

Fifteen people – thirteen men and two women – were executed and thrown off an overpass in San Fernando, Tamaulipas. The incident occurred around noon on Thursday. Police agents were first informed when commuters called in to report that bodies were scattered around the road.

All of the victims were blindfolded with their hands tied behind their back. There are indications that all were tortured before being shot in the head. They all were wearing white t-shirts with the letter “Z” written on the front – indicating that the drug cartel Los Zetas is responsible for the murders. None of the victims have been identified.
