This Wednesday night four men, one of which was a minor of eight years, were shot to death at a gas station by a group of armed individuals who traveled in two vehicles. The State Secretariat of Public Security (Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del estado) reported that the event was registered at seven o’clock last night. An armed group of unknown individuals, armed with AK-47 guns, approached the four men while refueling at a Mozimba gas station located off of the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo federal highway, cornered them while in a Bora Volkswagen and fired at them various times killing all four of them in the vehicle. Also reported was the injury of another male who was transferred to a hospital for medical attention. The motive remains unknown and of the four victims only the body of José Ignacio Rodríguez Ramos has been identified. According to Agencia EFE, just fifteen days ago after a pursuit and shootout, soldiers dressed in civilian cloth were killed.
