President of the High Court of Morelos, Ricardo Rosas Pérez, stated that the security and safety of the citizens in the state needs to be established if oral trials are taking place. He fears that because of the violent atmosphere in Mexico at this time, oral trials will only attract more violence to this region. Oral trials are essential, however, in curbing violence and holding individuals accountable for their actions.
