Two more men hung in Cuernavaca

08/24/10 – At around 07:15 hours two men were found hanging from their feet off of the Cuernavaca-Acapulco highway near the neighborhood of Antonio Barona. According to the Morelos State Attorney General’s Office (Procuraduría General de Justicia del estado de Morelos), both men were “picked up” in the neighborhood of Tarianes in the municipality of Jiutepec. On the their backs was written, “for rats CPS,” in reference to the Cártel del Pacífico Sur. One of the men has been identified as Juan Ávila Cerritos, resident to the Antonio Barona neighborhood. The men were hung by a group of four armed men who were traveling in a white X-Trail vehicle. This is the second hanging in the past week.
