This morning, three individuals, Ernesto Cruz Valenzuela, Pedro Solorio Jiménez y Anastacio Herrera Basurto, whom were part of the local police force were assassinated in La Huacana. Two other police members, Silvano Pacheco Guzmán y Romualdo Pérez Ponce, were badly injured in the attack which took place along a freeway, the PGJE has confirmed. The police were on patrol when a group surprised and stopped them with their vehicles. Local authorities found over 100 casings at the scene.
