1500 officers from federal, state and municipal law enforcement agencies began their efforts today on border public security operations for the Easter holiday period in the border city of Reynosa.
Among the forces that participate in the operative elements of the Mexican Army, Federal Preventive Police Roads Division, local traffic, municipal police, civil protection and fire brigades as well as elements that make up the brigade radio clubs, among others.
The Director of Municipal Public Security, Carlos Leal López, reported that monitoring would be extended mainly to areas of leisure, walks, entrances and exits of the city, as well as other points of concurrence.
