Ex-president Vicent Fox asked for a solid plan and some sort of commitment to solving the issue of organized crime that both countries face. “What we need is a compromise from President Obama and the U.S. government, and no more words, no more plans, no more pats on the back, like I received for six years,” Fox stated in an interview with CNN.
Tomorrow begins Obama’s official visit to Mexico. Security dilemmas will be central to the discussion, as well as Mexico’s demand for heightened control of the trafficking of arms from the U.S. into Mexico.
