NEZA ASSASSINS ARRESTED

02/15/2011— The Mexican state prosecutor, Alfredo Castillo Cervantes, presented seven subjects who were involved with the homicides committed on February 13th, 2011. Some of the subjects were identified as members of La Familia Michoacana cartel and have also been tied to homicides that took place earlier in the year. The men arrested included Carlos Alberto Rodriguez “El Galletas,” Jorge Eduardo Sandoval Ordaz “El Ruso,” Juan Luis Aparicio Padilla “El Raton,” Moises Hernandez Perez “El Moy,” Valentin Ramirez Araiza “El Valente,” Enrique Eduardo Moran Vega “El Chacal,” and Daniel Marquez Marquez. Enrique Eduardo Moran Vega was identified as a member of the band of “Los Pelones,” that has been associated with drug trafficking and numerous homicides.

The Attorney General of Justice of the State of Mexico (PGJEM) stated that since the homicides occurred there were sixteen searches that occurred with the goal of finding those responsible. During the arrest of the seven assassins, a gun, some cocaine, and half a kilo of marijuana were found. Castillo has also reported that within the next two weeks, there should be enough information that could possibly link “El Canas” and “El Vaquero” as leaders of criminal organization.
