580 policemen from a variety of departments participated in a security operation during ‘Semana Santa’ in Nuevo Laredo. State and federal police, firemen, and paramedics. Antonio Aguilar Candelaria, the director of security for the city of Nuevo Laredo, said that the extra help will allow a more throrough coverage of the citya nd ensure security. Another 200 policemen are being considered for Easter Suday.
