Last night a grenade was thrown into the sports ground known as Unidad Deportiva Benito Juárez in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, leaving five individuals injured. The happenings occurred approximately at midnight when a device exploded on the steps of the football field while several spectators were there. Although official information has not been issued it is believed that five people were transferred to the Red Cross (Cruz Roja). It is also believed that a minor was transferred to the General Hospital (Hospital General) where he died.
