Four men killed in Tijuana on Monday night brings the total to ten since Friday

10/12/10 – Four men were killed overnight in the border city of Tijuana. The first killings took place just outside a grocery store situated in the colony known as 3 de Octubre. Three men were shot to death in this incident; two of them appeared to be between the ages of 20 and 30 and the third is believed to have been the owner of the store. The fourth individual was found dead at his residence. Witnesses stated that the young man was shot to death as he arrived home late Monday night. Investigators have not yet identified or arrested any suspects in either of these two instances.

The Attorney General of the State (Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado – PGJE) confirmed that six homicides related to organized crime occurred in the city this past weekend. The names of the victims are Ángel Cruz Valdobinos, David Cruz Valdovinos, José Manuel Barragán Tapia, Manuel Alejandro Romero Lizárraga, Jonathan Sergio Ramos Pulido, and Miguel Ángel Curiel Ávila.
