Early Wednesday morning five dead bodies were found executed in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. There were three men, one of which was beheaded, and two women. The head of the decapitated was placed at the feet of another body. Three of the bodies, including the two women, had written messages on their chest pinned by ice picks. All five corpses showed signs of torture.

The five bodies have been identified as Roberto Rodríguez, José Vélez, Reyna Reyes, Roberto Escobedo, and Dulce Lira. Four of the dead were employed with the local police and one was an ex-agent. The Zetas have claimed responsibility for these deaths.
