The commander of the 21st Military Zone based in Morelia has instructed the soldiers to take positions in the state to ensure peace.
“This deployment sees the establishment of 25 bases of operations, to integrate a peripheral device in the area and 67 fully operational bases and nine motorized joint operations by military and federal police,” explained the military.
This device, said Sanchez Bravo, will be permanently supported by the Air Force.
The commander added that the troops carried out patrols in urban and rural work location to intercept weapons and drugs.
Military action occurs after several attacks by the criminal group “La Familia Michoacana” on different Federal Police bases, leaving 15 troops dead.
