Bishops deny a threat

The Bishops of Durango, Guadalajara, Mazatlán, Zamora, Huejutla y Yucatán deny that they have received death threats from members of the drug cartels.  The Archbishop of Durango, Héctor González Martínez, stated that he does not fear for his life.  The PGR has not tried to locate Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, who lives in Durango. The Bishop of  Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mario Espinosa Contreras, claims that in his three years at the dioceses, only one priest was assaulted, but it was the result of a common crime, not organized crime.
