At least five were found dead inside an abandoned truck in Monterrey; two were State Police agents

In Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, five individuals were found executed inside an abandoned truck; one of them had been decapitated. An anonymous tip led the State Investigation Agency (Agencia Estatal de Investigaciones – AEI) to the truck located in the southern part of the city. The local police had been on alert after being informed of a young man’s body located inside an abandoned vehicle. Next to the stacked bodies a narco-message, written on a piece of cardboard, was left. The message threatened anyone that investigated the “Z” as well as those who opposed the organization.

It is believed that at least two of the deceased are agents for the State Police (Policía Estatal), though none of the dead have been officially identified.
