Elements of the Federal Investigation Agency (Agencia Federal de Investigación—AFI) assigned to the Citizen Complaint Agency (Agencia de Denuncia Ciudadana) seized a vehicle loaded with almost 400 kilograms of marijuana in the municipal of Pihuamo, Jalisco.
By means of an anonymous tip federal authorities were alerted of the presence of an abandoned white and red Chrysler Voyager, with Jalisco license plates, on a small road that leads to El Guayabo from El Salitre. There were seventy-two packets containing 392 kilos of marijuana aboard the vehicle. An investigation as to where the marijuana came from and who transported it has been initiated.
