Police detained one of the founders of ‘Los Zetas’, Germán Torres Jiménez, alias el Z-25′ and ‘El Tatanka’. Officials believe he has collaborated with Osiel Cárdenas Guillén, the ex-leader of the Guld cartel in Veracruz. Torres is believed to have abducted Félix Batista and killed five rival cartel members. The Mexican Public Security (SSP) said the detention of Torres happened in Poza Rica, Veracruz.
