200 Federal Police arrive in Torreón; three people are executed at the same hour

As promised earlier this week, 200 elements of the Federal Police arrived in Torreón, Coahuila at 1:30am local time. The recent massacre that killed 18 people prompted the governor of Coahuila to request reinforcements from the federal government to help restore peace. Their arrival prompted three killings as soon as they entered the city.

One victim was shot and killed at the entrance of the city; the body was found lying on a road a few meters away from where the agents were passing by. At the time, they were not aware of what was occurring.

During that same hour, two more bodies were found no more than a kilometer away from the first victim. Both of the victims were shot in the head at the same spot where their bodies had been found.
